In Neville we trust
Απόσπασμα από την συνέντευξη Του Neville Brody στο βιβλίο του Adrian Shaughnessy, «How to be a graphic designer, without losing your soul«.
– In interviews you have said that you were accused of ‘not being commercial’. How did the LCP (London College of Printing) equip you for working life?
The only advice they gave me was to wear a tie in interviews. I left and went into four years of real poverty. People urged me to get a job in advertising – but I stuck to what I believed in. And if you believe in something you must do the same. Not getting a job doesn’t mean that you are no good. Things will come round.
Αχ κ. Neville μου, πόσο πολύ έχω ανάγκη να σας πιστέψω…
